I have been at a conference the last few days, and there was a poster exhibit. While browsing the posters, I noticed one of them was referencing an article by the late Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon professor and researcher who passed away last year. It made me think about a video I saw some time ago and that I want to share, although it is quite well known.
Professor Pausch was a respected and loved academician known for his work on the ALICE software project. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. In November 2007 he gave a lecture in which he gave advice on how to manage the limited time we're given.
It is a great speech that is worth watching every now and then. It is a big source of inspiration.
See it below or on youtube (direct link).
